If you are just getting here, this is day three of the Three day Photo Challenge on Living to Feel Good. If you are interested, scroll down to see my previous days.
Picture one is toaster waffles with a maple-vanilla yogurt sauce with bananas and strawberries. This is easy and very yummy. I cut the maple syrup with yogurt to make it less sugary and less calories. (Maple syrup 200 calories 4 tablespoons, yogurt 220 a cup)
The second picture is of one of my favorite easy lighter lunches. It is strawberries and/or peaches with a little blue cheese crumbles and poppyseed dressing. The dressing isn't low fat but, I measure it out and only use one serving. I have also cut it with a little vinegar in the past which is good but, not as good as the dressing is normally.
The last picture is Chicken Bryan at Carrabba's. It is awesome but not low fat or anything. I love Carrabba's because they have a gluten free menu. The picture is of the entire meal but I only eat half of all of that and take the rest home. Normally I would also take the veggies instead of the potatoes but the veggies weren't ones that I am a huge fan of that night so potatoes it was.

Three Day Food Photo Challenge Day 2

Day 2
Picture one breakfast two. This is one of my favorite breakfasts. It is vanilla yogurt with a cereal called Nutty Flax. I was really excited when I found this. It is gluten free, high fiber, and similar to Grape Nuts. This yogurt with a small bowl of fruit is very filling.
The second picture is lunch at Paradise Bakery. It is my new favorite place right now. I went with my husband and noticed that their salads are made separately from everything else (namely sandwiches) so there is less chance for cross contamination. Since I am not temped by the fabulous confections here this place works out well for me. I also get a side of fruit and their unsweetened mango tea. Yum!
The last picture is of these new gluten free veggie burgers I wanted to try. They are green but surprisingly good. I made a sort of pilafy brown rice concoction to eat with it. Quite tasty.
On to day three!!!

Three Day Food Photo Challenge Day 1

Living to Feel Good is one of my favorite blogs. These are my pictures for her 3 Day Food Challenge. I am sadly not a savvy with the pictures as everyone else. I am not even sure how to type between them. Hopefully this won't present a problem.
Day 1
The first picture is of my Ultimate Smoothie. This is a recipe my mom taught me and it is great and I have this all the time.
Lunch (pic two) is a chili I make often for lunches. I included it because it is somewhat popular with my friends and family. Instead of eating a handful of chips on the side like I used to, I crumble 2 or 3 on top so I still get a crunch with out all the calories.
The third picture is of tomato gluten free pasta and a side of cucumbers with balsamic vinegar and pepper.
I just decided that I will do this in three posts by day. I hope you don't mind. My lack of blogging skills is really showing but I don't want to throw my lap top into the street and end up joining commune in search for a simpler life.
