The people of Jamaica.

The people in Jamaica were very friendly. The service at the resort was impeccable. Life is very different on an island paradise. Being a place hit by hurricanes often, it really does show. Lots of buildings were torn apart. No trash though. When we were driven threw the streets in Jamaica, there were always people working on the side of the road picking up trash and grooming the plants.
My only real gripe was that I was offered gonja about 3 times a day. It was annoying. I was surprised that they really say "ya mon" as part of their everyday speech. The culture is very laid back. It made for a really relaxing vacation.
Starting from the top left-
1. Musicians on the beach. They were very good.
2. These guys on the beach sell wares and often offer "gonja" to the tourists. I think that wares are a front really, but some guys didn't care and would not have anything else, they would just walk up and offer while you were swimming. They must do well too, you can walk through the resorts and smell it as you walk on the paths.
3.These guys were really fun. They hosted us on the glass bottom boat tour. They also showed us a place called Hedonism. It is a nudest resort. They don't were clothes as all, for the whole vacation. To me actually, it sounds easy to pack for. Tooth brush, some make up maybe, and clothes to wear home. That's only a small carry on. Woohoo!
4. The horse guy I saw the first morning. I just thought he and his horses made a beautiful picture.

Sounds really pleasant and relaxing!

Don't know about packing for "Hedonism" though--you'd sure need to bring lots of sunscreen!

Jamica sounds wonderful. It's not a destination I'd ever considered for a holiday but looking at your photos has got me thinking.

But not the nudest beach!
